About Sportball Toronto
While looking for placement work as a student at Durham College for Sports Administration , I found this amazing organization that allowed me to work with my love of sports and teaching. It’s now been over 22 years since then and I’m still here.
This journey has taken me down different paths. My first 19 years with the company began as a coach, then becoming Area Manager of Durham East, building it into a thriving Sportball market.
Then in 2020, I was part of a team that had the task of rebuilding the coaching team for Toronto, and we’re proud of the team that we built with all of the young professionals that found joy in leading Sportball programs for all of our families.
In 2023, I took on the role in starting the Coaching & Programming team for all of our Sportball Markets, working to ensure our Sportball product is delivered to the high standard our families deserve.
As Area Manager for Toronto Central, I strive to help our team of amazing coaches to continue leading our amazing Sportball classes and providing a fantastic experience of fun and growth for all Sportball participants.

My kids have all done Sportball (Mississauga) area during their Toddler years (with parent and without) and I can only give the highest praise to the coaches that run the program every week. Coach Arvin and Coach Akhil are by far the most genuine and engaged coaches for this program and my kids love them especially my son. Every week kids do a different sport but at the beginning/end there is a routine (all aboard the train, ball popcorn and the chant at the end) that my kids have grown to love and get excited for. Please continue this program within the community centres as this a great program of confidence, independence and hand and eye coordination.

Love Sportball. My 3 year old has participated in 2 seasons in a row starting with soccer, then multi sport and has already requested to continue! The coaches do a great job at teaching the kids in age appropriate ways and can hold onto their attention over the duration of the class. I’ve also seen my child’s confidence grow throughout the program as she learns new things and socializes with her peers. As a parent, what more can I ask for!. We will definitely be continuing into the winter season.

I just wanted to take a moment to say how wonderful your coaches were with our son!! His first organized sport, crying to go on the field the first day, mom and dad having to do it with him.. his coaches Emily and Courtney were so patient and kind to him🥹🩵 he also loved coach Nick towards the end of his session:) the coaches taught him so many skills and a foundation to play the game he loves in the future. They used language and activities that were appropriate for the young age and kept the children engaged and having fun!! I also loved the cheer they do at the end and how empowering that is for kids 🥹

My son had just finished the 4 week multi sport class. I was completely amazed by the type of activities that were done and even more amazed by coach Evelyn. You could truly tell she had a passion teaching children. As a teacher myself, it was very impressive to see her classroom management skills and also her ability to grab and maintain the kids attention for the entire class. My son, who has a VERY difficult time focusing and listening, was like a different child in her class. He was engaged and listened and followed instructions like I have never seen before. I STRONGLY recommend this program and will definitely be signing my son up again!
