Sportball Atlantic

As a long term multi-sport athlete, and business person, I have always been a part of sport in some meaningful way. I have extensive knowledge in both for profit, public and private business, but also in community building and volunteerism in the non-profit world, acting as both an administrator and coach to several community based sport organizations.
I began my coaching career 20 years ago while raising my children in the local community of Lake Echo. I have coached minor hockey, girls fast pitch softball, and played a role in my son’s competitive paddling career by taking on an administrative position on the board of his paddling club. While also taking on administration of my daughter’s softball club.
Having dedicated many thousands of hours as a coach and sport administrator in community based sport over 20 years, I sought a way to make a career out of what I developed as a passion in making a difference in the lives of children through coaching and sport. I was ready to start my own business, and managed to find Sportball, which did not have an Eastern Canadian presence.

Upon visiting the corporate office in Toronto, and seeing the service for myself, it was an easy decision to purchase the franchise rights to Atlantic Canada and begin the vast journey of spreading this fabulous system throughout Atlantic Canada.

Since becoming established in Nova Scotia in 2014, the Sportball Atlantic Team has worked with over 20,000 children, and continues to grow and expand to new markets, and build partnerships with aligned organizations who share our passion.
